Is Internet TV different than IPTV ?

Yes and no. Many people use the terms to be interchangeable. But in the strictest sense Internet TV is open standards based video delivery system over the internet. IPTV is tv broadcast over the Internet Protocol (IP) but using properitary technology to control delivery, access and security.
